I switched from Justin's bttv2 to the new bttv series because that was the
future direction as I understood from Justin.
I don't think many people are using the bttv 0.8 series' v4l2 interface
though - I found a number of issues in the process.

I had to implement SNDCTL_DSP_GETOSPACE in btaudio to get mp1e to work
with it.
