What are good recorders for slower CPUs. I have a Aims VHX Tv tuner/capture card running in an AMD K6 233. I managed to put enough old computer parts back together which I want to setup as a video storage server. But I need to figure out which video recorders will work good enough.
Also, which version of bttv should I use? I am running 0.7.x. Should I switch to 0.8.x so that I can capture and change channels at the same time? I think this was one of the features to bttv 0.8. Is there other reasons I should switch to 0.8. Thanks for any help.
