What happens on my DC10+ (and I don't know why, so it may or may not relate to your problem), is that I have to load the modules, then run xawtv, wait for the 2 video4linux calls/errors, cancel, lavrec > /dev/null, and then zapping (or xawtv) works just fine. I hope that helps. marcel
