This is a problem with 2000c, it does not exist in 2000b. Here is the lazy fix I use: 1. Load a video. 2. Click all the boxes labeled /D/ in the info box to the left of the tracks. 3. Click on View->Fade Autos. 4. Click on View->Fade Autos again. This is documented on SourceForge if you look carefully. There is also a patch which is supposed to fix the problem. The patch does not work for me.
