Well, my main answer on all this is, "I don't know". I would guess that if you initialize the Kfir chip correctly with the PVR code that there will then be MPEG flying to some card output - how to access that output, I still don't know (I wasn't able to get a valid signal, but then I'm using an NTSC card in PAL-land and a non-standard audio frequency, which might skew my results).
