try this: 1 - log in as root 2 - create a directory # mkdir bttv2 ; cd bttv2 3 - download the bttv2 from http://bttv-v4l2.sourceforge.net # wget http://bttv-v4l2.sourceforge.net/download/driver-20020219.tgz 4 - compile and install it # make ; make install 5 - load the driver # modprobe bttv2
in my box, this "make install" doesnt work out, so I myself have to copy the compiled files to the /lib/modules/[kernel version]/misc hope this helps Fabio Roger [EMAIL PROTECTED] David =?iso-8859-1?Q?Macas-Verde?= wrote: > Dear Justin: > > > Thank you very much for your help but I have some questions. > > I visited the web you told me and it is going to > http://bttv-v4l2.sourceforge.net/ and the files I found there were > the ones I attached to this mail, but nothing about > bttv2-yyyymmdd.tgz.
