Latest versions of bttv 0.7/0.8, xawtv, kernel 2.4.19-pre8 tuner LG PAL_BG+FM (TPI8PSB01D), card AVer TV STudio
I can do a channel scan with scantv, and that finds all my channesl, but trying any command with v4lctl just hangs (volume, setchannel, show, etc.). xawtv-remote doesn't work either. No log information comes up, despite v4lctl, tuning & bttv debug turned on (debug information appears fine with scantv). The card grabs TV video & audio fine with ffmpeg, just can't seen to use xawtv. (I tried previous versions of xawtv with the same results).
