I cannot find anywhere, but thought I would ask anyhow. While loading the bttv module, is there anyway to tell it to only function in VIDEO_PALETTE_GREY mode like in some other v4l module(s)?
Very few of the (prewritten) apps have this configurable, and since I can only write perl scripts, but require the speed of C - I am stuck.
