Canadian or US user of TV tuner card ?

Hi,

I am a canadian and I was planning to buy a tv tuner card (if it can work with btaudio
it will be a plus, but it seems nobody in NTSC land has use it).
I was planning on a Hauppauge, but it's hard to make a good choice, so many
model and so little help and documentation (even on hauppauge web site ...)
and now they have french/english canadian model, I am totaly lost :(

Please help me,
What sort of card work well with linux (for doing my own tivo like things), record tv
stereo, a linux compatible remote will be a +, and btaudio a +++.
