Hi all: Hi my name is Mource and i new in this list, my question is realy simple: I have attache to my RH8 box two video devices, the first is an TView capture card and the second one is a creative USB webcam 3. This two devices work perfectly, i proved with xawtv, gnomeeting and other softwares, BUT (is allways a "but"), the capture card is my /dev/video0 and this have various chanel (0=tv, 1=composite, etc), if i want to use the creative webcam i have to connect to my computer and then turn on the machine, with this, the video device is /dev/video0 for the webcam in the chanel 0 and i loos my capture card (not from hardware list), all program wath the /dev/video0 and display the image form the webcam, i try to change the configuration in for example "gspy" software to use he /dev/video1 but dosn't work at all. Finally if i disconnect the webcam, i have to reboot the computer and use the capture card in the /dev/video0.
