Hello I have installed saa7134 module perfectly and it works with my saa7134-based capture card. But when I execute xawtv I get the following error : This is xawtv-3.74, running on Linux/i686 (2.4.18-14custom) ioctl: VIDIOCSYNC(0): Input/output error ioctl: VIDIOCSYNC(0): Input/output error ioctl: VIDIOCSYNC(0): Input/output error ioctl: VIDIOCSYNC(0): Input/output error ioctl: VIDIOCSYNC(0): Input/output error ioctl: VIDIOCSYNC(0): Input/output error
As you see, after six times repeating the same message (that lasts a few seconds), xawtv starts working properly and I have not experienced any problem during working. But I was curious to know why I get this error at the begining ? Let me mention that I also have a bttv-based capture card and I do not get this error with it when I use that card and load bttv module. After closing xawtv with saa7134 card, I also get another error message : no way to get: 384x288 32 bit TrueColor (LE: bgr-) As I said, although none of the errors causes any malfunction (at least as I feel), but I am curious to know why I get these errors and how I can fix them.
