I believe this is due to the xserver upgrade from 3.3.5 to 3.3.6 - I
have a similar issue with a Riva128, but haven't made time to
recompile the software on a 6.2 base (rather than 6.1).
Right clicking, or pressing a keyboard-shortcut for the channel moves
the overlay window to the top left corner of my screen, in a 1x1 inch
window, and after that the xawtv interface is frozen.
xawtv does die fairly nicely when killed after it's in the above
state.
I get the default channel, but also get sound, on startup
