     You can't imagine how much you've helped me with this! My hair was getting
white from trying, as I spent the last four months struggling to get sound to work
with my 3DeMON card. But this simple e-mail solved it for me and a fewothers with
the same problem I know. Thank you a thousand times!

      I think your problem lies with the tuner and pll settings.
      I use the following lines in modules.conf:

# I2C
alias char-major-89     i2c-dev
options i2c-core        i2c_debug=0
options i2c-algo-bit    bit_test=0

# TV-Tuner
alias char-major-81     videodev
alias char-major-81-0   bttv
options bttv            pll=1 radio=0 card=0 debug=0 verbose=0
options tuner           type=5 debug=0

       And now I have a great picture and sound as well. Hope this helps.
