As far as I know, STB never sold these as a boxed retail product.
I doubt they sell them at all right now.
Regardless, I have to question why you would want to do such a
thing. I own an STB TV-PCI and can't say i recommend it. There are
probably several versions, the one i have is a BT848 with a TDA-something
stereo decoder, and TEMIC 4032-FY5 NTSC tuner. Other versions have an FM
tuner as well, newer versions use a BT878 and a different tuner.
The version I have has always had tuner issues under linux. For
whatever reason, AFC appears to be nonfunctional, resulting in tuned
channels de-tuning frequently.
I don't program much, and don't know much about how these boards
work internally, so I don't have the wherewithall to fix it myself. I have
frequently offered my STB card at no charge to anyone who feels like
fixing bttv to work with it. I have had no takers.
My suggestion is that you try a different card.
