I have recently installed XFree86 4.0.
My attempts to use bttv and xawtv to view the TV seem
to result in Xserver lockup (or at the very least super
snail pace).
The basics of my installation are:-
Kernel 2.2.15 smp
3dfx Voodoo 3
I have removed the config.cache file for xawtv followed
by a configure and then a make clean and make for both. So
any new X related things should be included.
If readers of the list have this working then I'll pursue
it.
