There is currently no support for tda9840 in bttv, and AFAIK there is no
bttv version which support mono/stereo switching with this chip. I read
sources and modified it - so now I can listen mono or stereo sound
with my AVerMedia TV Phone 98. Patch is only 926 bytes gzipped
(it's just this Horrible Hack) - this is helpful only for
non-programmers :-) I hope in the near future there will be
support in tvmixer, but now I use my patch - please write if you
are interested.
