I am working on an image preocessing application using STB TV PCI cards
as framegrabbers. I need to use two cards so as to interface two
cameras. Is it possible to do so under V4L and the bttv driver to
support two video devices at one time ? Any help regarding this matter
or related will be appreciated.
It works great. I use four bttv Hauppauge cards at a time, sending 4 25fps streams with vic, for weeks on end.
I've found that the bttv driver that comes with the linux kernel hangs after a short time (10-15 minutes) with multiple cards. I've been using the 0.6.4h driver from
instead with great success.
