I upgraded to the latest bttv drivers (0.7.39) and they work fine. Kudos to
Gerd. Three things I noticed:

- recording an avi still produces a clip without sound (even when setting
the mixer to line-in). Need more RTFM.
- you can safely switch from X to any tty console without crashing your
whole machine now. This is great.
- when I do that the following error pops up on tty1:

bttv0: irq: SCERR risc_count=00d0060c
bttv0: aiee: error loops

It can't be that bad, because xawtv just keeps on running when you switch
back to X, alas it takes a few seconds before the picture starts moving again.

Radio is still a no-no. I have a Pinnacle PCTVpro (BT848, MSP3410D, Temic
4006FH5), but using the following when inserting the bttv and tuner modules
didn't do the trick: bttv card=11 radio=1; tuner type=14. I'm unsure about
the pll as there are both a 35 and 28 MHz crystal on the card. The default
seems to work.

I still haven't seen any success stories of people getting radio to work
with this card. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Hans
