As you said, the mixer shouldn't be the reason why my card doesn't work.
(BTW, you were right, the inline switch was down at 0. But I can't get any
useful sound from my TV card) But I noticed that kmix show displays my
Soundlaster Live twice (saying 1x "ung�ltiger Mixer", and showing it 1x
correctly).
Anyhow, still no success with my card! I'm quite annoyed...
