Hi all,
I am trying to use a Bt878 card with the bttv driver under the latest
2.4.0 kernel (-prerelease). I believe that I have compiled all the
necessary modules. When I do a "modprobe bttv" I get
/lib/modules/2.4.0-prerelease/kernel/drivers/media/video/bttv.o:
unresolved symbol video_register_device_R1d1223fe
/lib/modules/2.4.0-prerelease/kernel/drivers/media/video/bttv.o:
unresolved symbol video_unregister_device_R6c8018d9
/lib/modules/2.4.0-prerelease/kernel/drivers/media/video/bttv.o: insmod
/lib/modules/2.4.0-prerelease/kernel/drivers/media/video/bttv.o failed
/lib/modules/2.4.0-prerelease/kernel/drivers/media/video/bttv.o: insmod
bttv failed
I know the card has a bt878 chip but I don't know the manufacturer. It
has 3 RCA jacks on it, plus one S-video. That's all I know.
Can anyone help me figure out what I need to do next?
BTW, the list archives on Redhat's website seem to have no articles
since late August. Surely the list has been active since?
Thanks in advance,
Eric
