Hi, I know that this is a little (okay, a lot :) off on a tangent, but I'm
having some trouble getting this whole she-bang to work.

I'm capturing a TV source using v4l1 and mp1e to a MPEG1 file.  I'm now
trying to transcode from MPEG1 to DivX using x2divx. However, when I try
to do this, mpeg2divx freezes here, using 100% of the cpu (yes, i've asked
this before)

$ mpeg2divx out.mpg foo.avi
Available CPU flags: fpu vme de pse tsc msr pae mce cx8 sep mtrr pge mca
cmov pat pse36 mmx fxsr sse
598.072 MHz Celeron (Coppermine) processor detected
ifiles 0 assigned out.mpg

Can anyone else suggest something to make this work, or just go STRAIGHT
from TV to DivX? Someone suggest qtvidcap, but that requires X, and that's
not an option. It's gotta be completely commandline.

I've tried RealProducer 8.5 Beta. For some reason, the audio dies out
after awhile. I can't explain it. I've given up on it anyway - the
windows player is horrible.  :)

Any help will be appreciated! Thanks!
