Hi all,
i recently installed (first time linuxer) Red Hat 6.2 on one 8 Mb HD.
And got some problems i hope some of you could help into solving :
-i can't start the X Window KDE. It says that 800*600 isn't possible,
but i have it running so on my Win95, with a 2Mb S3 Virge graphic card.
(I have Win95 on my other HD)
Other more general problems (please reply off list, as they're off
topic) with the same installation were :
-i can't login as administrator, whenever i introduce "su" as login, and
the password for the admin, it doesn't recognizes it. When i installed
it, it only requested a password for the "superuser", so i don't know if
"su" is just the right login for superuser or administrator.
-have to boot using the floppy disk, because i just don't see any dual
boot message when starting, and have to boot from the disk all times.

P.D. I've already read all posts relating S3 Virge, but no one has
posted anything similar so far in this list.
