NO.
I am not sure about the 2.4 since I haven't installed it yet, but there is
a somewhat hacked howto put together for RH 6.2 users that helps you
understand the steps needed to merge the two. This is located on
sourceforge.net. Do a search for BTTV2. You call v4l1 v4l2 on or off
depending on what apps you need to run. ie recording (v4l2) and using v4l1
apps (v4l1) (This is how it used to be, not sure if it is anymore.)
If you try to follow this (older howto that I helped throw together) howto
using existing BTTV/BTTV2 you will probably(?) fail. Best bet is to look for
the updated BTTV2 howto that I am sure Justin has put together (On
sourceforge).
Later this week when I open my web server to the public, I will post the
older versions of this software along with small HOWTOS and some install
scripts. I will post the url later if anyone needs.
