Well actually I havent done that yet I figure there is only one tuner Ntsc thats all
Philips components(2)

> (/usr/src/linux/Documentation/???). Then add the following lines to
> /etc/modules.conf:
> options tuner type=<From CARDLIST>
> options bttv card=<From CARDLIST> tuner=<from CARDLIST> radio=<0 or 1
> if the card supports FM>
>
> Unload and reload bttv and tuner and see if it works.
It would be great if you mentioned how one does "Unload and reload bttv"

However I just restarted and this is new in /var/log/messages:

bttv.o: invalid parameter parm_tuner

so I removed tuner=2 from
options bttv card=6 tuner=2

and now I have essentially

options tuner type=2
options bttv card=6
alias char-major-81 bttv

And !!! it works I get input from Composit Now !!!

BUT !!! its not at all smooth :o(
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
its more like 5-10 fps and that on a PIII 500 ?
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So is there some DMA or so I am missing ?

Thanks for all the help - I am hoping to get to the same problems as the other
subscribers who have been trying to publish Real
Video ...

cheers

Tobias
