Hi there, When I start xawtv, it says (or I presume v4l-config says): /dev/video not found But I did create /dev/video according to the BTTV mini howto: mknod /dev/video0 c 81 0 chmod 666 /dev/video0 ln -s /dev/video0 /dev/video I have compiled the necessary drivers straight into the kernel (2.2.17, the drivers as they are deliverind in this version) At bootup, I see a line where the driver recognizes the Philips tuner of my Hauppauge WinTV-pci card. compiling the drivers as modules made no difference...
