Hey I just had an importand realization (Little step for Mankind - good one for me :)

I could just run a Video-cat in a Java Exec Shell and receive the stdOut output stream
easily in my Java program...

Only that I don't really know the command that does the cat - or should i compile
Gleicon's dog ?

So am I then going to get just the sequential representation of the raster data ?

Help me Please I am a beginner =] (relatively) The only thing that worked for me so
far is xawtv ... ( and now I am using mandrake
7.2) (I am hoping to use this with a Bt878 based framegrabber as well as a CPIA
ParPort Cam)

I guess it will depend on the mode how many bits per pixel and all that
Is there a fairly easy to understand documentation for that kind of thing...

Are the Swiss Programmers still on line that previously implemented a Java Interface ?

Thanks for your Patience !

Tobias
