Hi;
I've been playing with Quicktime4Linux for grabbing (it needs a LOT of space,
but the quality is superb).
I like a lot Broadcast 2000; it does almost all I want, but the grabbing
begins to drop frames with resolutions bigger than 352x240 (the sync isn't a
problem; Broadcast helps a lot to synchronize the streams).
Streamer (from xawtv) does a better job (in sync too); but when I try to grab
stereo (using Quicktime), it says:
[canek@localhost canek]$ streamer -f raw -F stereo -r 24 -t 240 -o mov.mov
qt / video: 24 bit TrueColor (BE: rgb) / audio: 16bit stereo (BE)
SNDCTL_DSP_SETFMT(32): Invalid argument
oss: requested sound format not supported by driver
And Broadcast _does_ the stereo grabbing (and streamer too, with AVI or when
I grab only sound).
Anyone a clue?
My system:
PIII 600Mhz 384 MB mem.
Kernel 2.4.2
Xfree 4.0.1
bttv-0.8.11
xawtv-3.40
broadcast-2000c
