[V4L] v4lctl

I am trying to use v4lctl with this command "v4lctl setnorm NTSC setinput Composite1 capture grabdisplay snap jpeg", but i can t get a picture. When I  try "v4lctl snap jpeg" I am getting a blue picture.   The xawtv is working only with the above configuration ( NTSC , Composite1, grabdisplay ...).  The problem is that i can t make v4lctl to accept this configuration. Is there any other way?   Thank you
