I am porting an app to linux and I cant' capture
images.
Firstly, on testing the card (miro PCTV) with XSane
and XScanimage on my RedHat 7 system, I can find nothing to select the input
channel or PAL/NTSC and it seems that NTSC is selected. Are there any installed
utilities for V4L on the linux release?
Secondly, in my program, which compiles ok, and
opens the device and sets channel 1 and RGB 24 alll without error returns, the
call to read the video data (read(...)) does not exit. Any ideas?
