Not i2o, but i2c.
you must compile kernel including bttv and i2c ( into
kernel or as kernel module ).
I recommend 'module method'.
Once compiled so, reboot using compiled
kernel.
After login, 'modprobe bttv'.
You can see detail log in /var/log/messages file.
'tail /var/log/messages'.
Successfully loaded, run any video for linux
application.
