xawtv runs, and i can get radio stations and hear broadcast audio, but
the screen is just black. i'm mostly just interested in grabbing video
from the s-video input, but i don't get anything but a black screen when
i switch to s-video.
tvset runs (if i run it as root, otherwise it gives me "Set buffer:
Operation not permitted) and does give me an image from the camera, but
it's sort of streaked across the whole screen and seems to freak out my
display.
i'm not getting any interesting error messages (that i can find), and i
really don't know where to go looking to solve this. the card works fine
under windows on the same box. since i am getting some sort of image
with tvset it seems that the card is installed correctly...
any ideas?
thanks,
douglas
