Hi all! Is there a program out there with functionality similar to Mr. Knorr's excellent Webcam (included in xawtv) that will dump the image to GIF rather than JPEG? If not, it doesn't look to difficult to get it talking to libgd (deprecated) or one of the other libraries that speak gif, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't reinventing something. I want to toss the files to a WAP device that doesn't speak jpeg...
