For the reopen bug I'd like to see a small test program which is able
to f*ck up bttv this way (i.e. after running it xawtv stops working in
grabdisplay mode).
The SYNC ioctl might get interrupted by signals, yes. You have to
catch and handle errno == -EINTR in your program.
