Hello,

While this isn't directly related to video4linux, I've seen folks here
mention using mpeg2movie to encode video, and I've been wondering
whether anyone has been having the same trouble that I've been having
with it.

When I try to encode anything with B frames, the resulting movie seems
to display the frames out of sequence.

The only modification I made to the source was to force the video
encoder not to use SSE, because I've running a 2.2.x kernel on a Pentium
III.

The input file is an MPEG-1 file, encoded with mp1e, by the way.

Thanks,

Ori Pessach
