I have the above pixelview play TV pak card. I am working with kernel
2.4.1 with X 4.0.2 in RH 6.2. I have the following lines in
modules.conf.
video lines
# TV
# i2c
alias char-major-89 i2c-dev
options i2c-core i2c_debug=1
options i2c-algo-bit bit_test=1
# bttv
alias char-major-81 videodev
alias char-major-81-0 bttv
pre-install bttv modprobe -k tvaudio; modprobe -k tvmixer;

options tvaudio debug=1 tda9873=1
options tuner debug=1 type=5
I didn't get the sound. Though I changed the card type to 16 which is
also another pixelview card. I get picture good. How to get sound. I
read sound-faq in bttv folder, but I couldn't any thing further. If
anybody is having working modules.conf kindly reply.
