I have one of those motherboards, and my bttv Pinnacle PCTV Pro is working perfectly in SuSE 8.2. I do know of two gotchas, though: - - You will probably have to disable acpi as the implementation on these boards is buggy and will most likely cause problems. You need to add "acpi=off" to the kernel command line - - I recommend going into the BIOS setup and disabling every onboard device you are not using.
