No offense, but that code is a disaster.  There are tons of HTML
errors.  Here is some better code...

The first <object> block should be used inside HTML if you are not
concerned about making pages XHTML valid.

The second part has two parts and is XHTML-valid using JavaScript. 
There is a function for Flash and another for Quicktime.

This makes it very easy author new posts and manage the media code.
