I don't think FeedBurner supports all the elements in MRSS like <media:thumbnail> for each item.
This is actually a problem that I'm trying to help solve in the Microformats group. I've been pushing for a media Microformat that can be used to transform a simple set of structured HTML into the correct MRSS tags... <media:thumbnail> being one of those tags.
