I disagree. I think that if some vlogging goes into the television-like way it's going - for those who want to do it that way - they need the ads to support the production costs of the show, including reporting, etc. One parallel universe that comes to mind for me is This American Life - they do any ads at the end, and I love how they tweak them, like the ad for Volkswagen is that the car is just a shell for the radio, or something like that.
