Subject: Better camera? Sony HC1 or Panasonic PV-GS400
Which is the better camera for vlogging? Or are both overkill?
And can Premiere Pro handle editing hi-def from the HC1?

First post here. Hey all.
Cameras... hmmm... I look at the new stuff all day long and I think those 2 are definitely overkill for vlogging. Too chunky and too TAPEY!
My fav 2 right now are mine - the Canon s2 is (review) and the one I want to get - the HD-to-SDchip - Sanyo Xacti HD1
In my experience - and I have 2 other miniDV cams and have tried (and returned) a Kodak, as well - you want SD card reading cameras... it's just WAY easier and cheaper (in the long run) than tape.
Have fun!
