Last weekend there was a small punk rock/cop riot in Sam Benardino CA.

I think it gives rise to good example of how myspace/youtube allow communal
blogging
of such events.

14 clips up on youtube:
http://www.youtube.com/results?search=british+invasion+2k6&search_type=search_videos&search=Search
footage include dramatic shop trashing, cop head bashing, blurry cellphone,
panted commentary

the best clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5B1DSICjgqU having done 27k views
in less than 24 hrs
500 or so of which have come from myspace, and while the show's profile
http://www.myspace.com/invasionfest2k6usa is the central news gathering point,
it's info posted
to bulletins that it's myspace friends can read, it's a mess of embedded media,
which makes youtube
the main venue for commentary
