You're right, I used to think that multiple posts per week would have an effect on vlogmap, but it doesn't seem to (there's been no considerable change during vlog week so far). Although I hadn't posted any Kitkast stuff in three weeks (before vlog week) it's true that my numbers were staying constant and even increasing... so although it looks weird, I guess with people always looking for new content, the stats are pretty constant!
One thing I find strange is when someone removes their feed from the public eye. Apparently there is an option in Feedburner that allows you to hide your stats from people (therefore removing it from vlogmap). Sometimes you see people's stats on vlogmap just hanging there while other stats keep going. I'm sure lots of people like to end their public stats on a high note before going to look for sponsorship!
