To be honest, I really do NOT like pop-ups. (When I want something to pop-up into a new window, I make it pop-up myself.)
I prefer to get a direct link to the video. (That way I can open it up in a new window, a new tab, or in-place.)
I'd suggest linking in this (direct) link to the video with a thumbnail of the video. (Instead of just some text.)

Verdi mentioned today his dislike of embedded quicktime movies, and the issue of scrolling. Is the issue simply that viewing videos via a pop-up is optimal to the embedded approach, so that you can move the pop-up window around on the desktop to where you like? I have switched over from Josh's pop-up solution (embedthevideo.com), to Enric's vPIP. I can scroll OK, in Firefox and IE, while a vid is playing - although that isn't something I personally do that much.
I would like to do what works best for my viewers (all 10 of them), and would like to hear more opinions on what the group thinks is the optimal approach.
Also, I would like to thank this discussion group for the fantastic support and guidance provided. I really enjoy monitoring the discussions, and appreciate the community spirit.
