Hi, folks. I have to go with the DC vote on this one. I think it’s one of
the greatest places in the country to visit and I live here. It’s not super
expensive, it’s the south, or just north of it, so it’s warm most of the
year, it’s easy to get to, visitor-friendly, and best of all it’s got an
energy and a level f excitement other cities I have spent considerable time
in simply do not have. Plus there’s all the tourist stuff, free museums,
more Ethiopian restaurants than you can shake a stick at and simply some
really great people.

We have a large and growing community of videobloggers here and, although
Steve G. may take issue with this, I think we rival the size and enthusiasm
of the Boston group. It’s been a lot of fun to see the group grow as it has,
and quickly too. just six months ago or so, Andy Carvin, Jonny Goldstein and
I met at our first DCMM meeting in a bar at Dupont Circle and now we have a
rather large group of talented, energetic people.

Plus you can crash in my guest room. Well, one or two of you can, anyway.
And I make a hell of a breakfast.
