http://www.argn.com/archive/000611its_alive_its_huge_its_11808.php As far as the topic of cameras.... The term used is normally "Prosumer" cameras. It began with mini-dv in the late nineties. The DV Revolution began. As did the debates of film versus digital. That's the time I splurged on a "broadcast quality" Canon XL-1 (the best of breed back then). It was all about 3ccd, lense quality and features. mini-dv tapes cost anywhere from $20-$50 believe it or not. In addition to all the solid references that Brooke Hinton made earlier in this thread, I was also somewhat inspired by a project called "The Last Broadcast" which was pre-BWP. http://www.thelastbroadcastmovie.com/ http://www.videomaker.com/article/3062/ sull [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
