Multi Media Producer : CBS Sports Mobile Overview The MMP Sports Emphasis will be responsible for all sports content for CSTV/Sportsline. The ideal candidate will write, shoot, edit and post their own material for digital distribution to handsets. A serious sports fan with a wide knowledge base and solid writing skills is preferred. Must be able to fulfill the experience, education and responsibilities listed below. Education Requirements: - Advanced video production training or equivalent experience. Experience requirements: - Extensive non linear editing. Final Cut Pro preferred. - DV camera, audio and lighting experience. - Knowledge of video formats, video conversion and general audiovisual issues. - Solid technical troubleshooting skills. - Able to digest the needs of detailed projects, then prioritize and order activities. - Ability to communicate and function in a corporate environment. - Able to adhere to directives and deadlines, yet require minimal supervision. - Comfortable on Mac and PC platforms. - Motion Graphics experience a plus. - Close attention to detail. - Understanding of file sharing and server issues. Role & responsibilities: - Edit and post clips on a daily basis. - Edit special projects as assigned. - Make sure all videos are to specification and legal/clearance issues - Shoot video for mobile video productions.
