Yes, I use it on the Mac, though I started off using a lite version on Windows 
that came 
undled with some hardware years ago. The upcoming version 7 of Live adds the 
ability to 
save video that is used inside Live, so I shall be reviewing whether thats of 
use to some 
vloggers, for those who like to take video 'samples' from other videos it could 
be great if 
its implemented well enough.

As for fan noise audio issues, Im a little bit hesitant for my advice to sound 
too positive, 
just in case you are disappointed or they have somehow changed the fan system 
since I 
got a macbook and macbook pro. Im all out of date with consumer law but I 
suppose you 
could probably return it if disatisfied within the first week or so?
