The author replied in their forum, he got permission from the effect creators, and apparently they are credited in the readme and somewhere in the settings for effects, so I was dumb and not looking in the right places, and so it seems this app is actually a shining example of people doing the right thing by giving credit where its due.
So sorry for waffling about this, me wrong again lol, ah well. If anybody has any ideas for anything theyd like to do in CamTwist or some other QC-based video effects, I might be able to help with customising or creating enw quartz compositions to achieve this. Are there many people on this list doing live shows, or shows that involve talking to other people via video chat, that would have any interest in this stuff? Id like to be of some small use, but if its not really on-topic I'll save it for elsewhere. Cheers Steve Elbows
