Check out Video the Vote: http://videothevote.org - you may have already heard about this (they were on Digg and Boing Boing this week). My friend is working with them and told me the thing they need most is people who are good at getting video up on the web quickly. I just signed up and I know David Howell already signed up. The way I understand it is if they get a report of something happening in your area, they'll contact you to see if you can go out and cover it. Seems pretty straightforward and important.
