I think saying we don't need to talk about the money is a little like VC's
telling start up founders not to worry about the stock.

Why are we suddenly money grubbing bad individuals to even bring it up?

YouTube has structured things so they can be the only game in town, so
other companies can't compete, just yet.

That's good business for them, but it seems like the same old bad business
for the rest of the community/little guy.

I'm curious (again, trying to get out of re-reading the *current* youtube
TOS, which seems to be ever changing:) -- but does it still say they can
do anything they want with your content, once you upload it? (Like put it
on TV)

Members of this list have commented in the past about how insulting it is
to see the words "YouTube Video" on television, when one makes it on the
air. I believe it is the youtube TOS that allows them to do this legally
-- although I am unclear whether it trumps the required "attribution" of
CC licenses for CC licensed works uploaded to youtube. It seems to me that
this is more of a "respect for the creator" issue.
